Golden Globe Award Ceremony, was a night of red carpet glamour from white flowing gowns, metallics, glitz, and Greek goddesses. Jewelry also was a common thing among female celebrities – large diamond rings, accented bracelets, and hoop earrings - so that, in the end, the fabulous gowns stood out even more. We saw lots of white and sexy backs dominating the evening, making it the new it style.
Sandra Bullock told one red carpet interviewer that she was happy she'd chosen "a plastic dress" for the Golden Globes, as it seemed completely unmarred by the rain in Los Angeles. Purple looks fantastic on Sandra, who has had one brilliant year.
Drew Barrymore wore one of the evening's most daring ensembles, making a grand entrance in an intensely dramatic nude embellished gown by Atelier Versace. Not everyone will be a fan of the sparkling crystal pieces at the hip, but the overall effect of the gown is completely striking. She kept the hair and beauty look relatively simple - anything too complicated would have been confusing with such an over-the-top gown.
