Because I love a makeover story.

I loved the make-a-prom-dress montage from Pretty in Pink, and I love taking a dress from unworkable obscurity to here-and-now pretty. A wedding gown that was dated and fussy (but made of beautiful silk organza and delicate lace) has become this lovely misty green maid of honor dress for Adrienne. Cuffs from long sleeves became lacy scalloped cap sleeves. The high Victorian neckline was discarded in favor of a graceful scoop. Trimmed down, de-trained and decked with a moiré ribbon sash (I happened to have it in my studio and the color was a perfect match), this is a very satisfying "after" photo.
